NFL’s Week 7 will conclude with the Monday Night Football game between the New England Patriots and the New York Jets. While not the most exciting game, if we had the choice we would’ve scheduled one of the excellent Sunday games in its place, a lot of people will likely tune in tonight. If not for the football itself, many are still unsure how legit the Patriots are this season, considering the cupcake schedule they’ve had so far, and with Tom Brady not getting any younger, odds are in the works by the sportsbooks on when will the GOAT retire. Sam Darnold played very well last week after is return on the field from suffering of mono, beating the Cowboys at home, so who know what would happen in this Monday Night Football?
The sportsbooks, of course. Let’s take a look at the odds and point spread on the Monday Night Football game between the Pats and the Jets. At Bookmaker the Patriots are the unsurprising favorite with -450 money line on the game. The Patriots v Jets point spread here is currently at -9.5 points chalk New England and the total is at 43.5 points. If you are gunning for the Jets’ side of the spread, you may want to consider Bovada Sports, where the Jets are +10 underdog ATS. Bettors would have a better payout on the line at Bookmaker, however, where the Jets are paying out on +351, but more importantly, the Pats (which would be over 90% of the bets this Monday) hole -450 odds to win the football game outright.
